At laus Deo Salon, an Associate Artist is a team member who is working toward a position as a Protégé’ Artist.

An Associate may be an experienced stylist or a recent graduate of cosmetology school who understands the benefit of investing time into their career to develop their technical ability and other skills graduating as a Protégé’ Artist.

Our Associates receive more advanced training than many stylists who have been in the industry for years.  Our program insures that when an artist begins to service guests at the Protégé’ Level they are competent and skilled in color, design, creativity, teamwork, communication and guest service.

Working daily with a Mentor Artist, our associates are continually learning as they help service guests in the area of color and styling.  Each quarter associates attend hands on training with a guest Redken artist bringing new color and design techniques to explore on a regular basis.  The associate program generally lasts between 10-12 months depending on the individual.
