A Principle Artist has completed the educational and guest requirements to be promoted from Protégé’ Artist and is working toward the position of Signature Artist.

In addition to completing the Associate Program, a Principle Artist has shown excellent guest service and retention and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the principles involved in both design and color and how to apply them creatively.

A Principle Artist continues quarterly in salon trainings with guest Redken artists to advance both technical and professional skills continuing the journey toward becoming a Signature Artist.

Education requirements at this level include attending a 3-day advanced hands-on training in color and design at the Redken Exchange in NYC.
