What’s in a name? Many guests wonder where we found our name and the meaning behind it. Our name is a continuous reminder that we serve a purpose greater than ourselves and that purpose is not for our own glory.
On the east face of the aluminum cap atop the Washington Monument in Washington DC, two words are inscribed. “Laus Deo”. Latin in origin, the meaning of Laus Deo is “Praise be to God”.
These 2 small words remind us that in all things God deserves praise and thanksgiving.
