What a great experience we had at the Paul Mitchell Academy yesterday!  The students were amazing.  It was very impressive to hear the questions they asked and the understanding they had of some basic techniques we talked about.  They definitely have a very positive environment in which to learn and it really shows in their enthusiasm and desire to learn more.  The one thing that hit me is that these students are the future of our industry.  It's so important as an industry that we recognize the need to mentor these young people as they graduate from beauty school.  Each student is like a diamond in the rough.  They just need some polishing to really let their light shine!
That's why the associate program we have at laus Deo is so vital.  We build our team one artist at a time while giving an opportunity to an individual to have a true career in the industry we all love.  The heart of any salon is its team.  I am proud to say that our team has a true spirit of passion, dedication and integrity and it's a blessing to be able to share.
