Education
Our commitment to ongoing advanced education empowers our artistic team while providing a career path that allows each team member to continue growing in the industry. We believe that each individual’s success strengthens the entire company and we applaud the accomplishments of our incredible team.

We are proud to say that we have 2 Redken Certified Haircolorists, 4 Redken Specialists, 2 Redken Master Specialists and a Redken Artist on our team. Not just because it gives us credibility as a team (it does!), and not just because it’s cool to say (it is!) It’s what the titles represent that makes us proud of each one. Accomplishment, commitment, determination, mistakes, learning. It’s not the title, but the journey in achieving it that is the greatest reward.

Ongoing In-Salon Education (2009)

Advanced Design:  National Redken Artist Jill Leitz shared creative ideas and techniques to kick off this year’s education.  Our team spent the day creating new interpretations of classic shapes with undercutting, disconnection and exploring modern movement in design.

Creative Color:  National Redken Artist Leah Freeman shared the Haircolor Forecast for Spring and Fall of ’09.  Our Team explored techniques that are quick and make a strong impact in the end design as well as new color formulation for the changing seasons.  Check out just a few buzz words for color this season and coming into Fall! Glamour, Polished, Butterscotch, Strawberry, Gold – Now is the time to start talking to your artist about your Fall Color Design!

Trend Interpretation: National Redken Artist Jayson Morgan shared new trends for Fall of ’09.  With a strong focus on the fringe area we explored different types of graduation and over direction to create new and fresh shapes.  Revisiting the truly classic bob shape and giving it a new twist including disconnection and asymmetry was great fun!  The looks we created are definitely wearable for our everyday guest and we came away inspired and ready for Fall!

Color Immersion: National Redken Artist Ty Isobe spent the day with us creating completely different color patterns.  Each member of our team created their own color design based on personal inspiration and interpretation of trends.  The excitement of sharing our ideas and building on each other’s inspiration gave all of us a shot of energy!  Color is such a beautiful way to change any look and it’s interesting to see how we all changed the design a bit differently by simply changing the color pattern.

Ongoing In-Salon Education (2008)

Principle Based Design: After this class, our entire team was able to move forward and communicate with a common language reinforcing the basic principles of shape and movement within design.

Advanced Color & Design: Creating a complete look for our guests with color and design inspires us to create a personal expression for each guest when developing their look. Our guests love this personal approach

Advanced Design Men and Women: Interpretation of trends is key to creating fashion forward yet wearable looks for our guests every day. Utilizing the principles learned earlier to create new and innovative shapes is a powerful reinforcement.

Advanced Color: Every colorist receives inspiration in a very personal way. As an artist staying inspired is important and we strive to create beautiful runway haircolor that is unique to the individual everyday in the salon.
